Marriage Equality To Benefit Black Community

Negros turned out in the hundreds for a rally yesterday in downtown Washington, chanting “Let the people vote!” Today, hearings on legalizing same-sex marriage in Washington D.C. will take place. A few pastors have demanded that voters be allowed to decide the issue in a referendum. Currently, DC recognizes marriages performed outside the district.

Bishop Harry Jackson said he believed God might still “do a miracle” and change the minds of council members who previously voted to recognize same-sex marriages performed elsewhere.

Too many Negros are simply ignorant, more ignorant and most Ignorant. Carter G. Woodson said it all to clear: When you control a man’s thinking you do not have to worry about his actions. How ironic! These Negro churches against marriage equality have never rallied once for why too many DC kids cannot read at grade level; why DC dropout rate is over 50%, why churches, liquor stores and nonprofits are the only development in many Black DC communities; why prison is lil’ John’s rite-of-passage, why, why and why….

These marching and rallying Negro’s have been brain poisoned; they have been misled by political White and Black Right wingnuts agendas that have ZERO benefit to the Negro. ZERO!

Marriage Equality can only benefit the Black community- not harm it: the socioeconomic status of many communities and neighborhoods will bloosom. Trust me, your home value will increase as soon as gay couples move in the neighborhood . Don’t you know, gays are sought out to revitalize neighborhoods – seriously. Why? Gay’s are God’s chosen people: they are real survivors. Ok, they bring in the tools and resources to get the damn job done. And that’s the Undisputed Truth!
